The latest addition to our fleet, the Charleston Lady is a single-deck motor vessel that can host groups from 2-45 passengers on board. The bow is open for fresh harbor breezes and the stern is enclosed but has windows that can open for a nice cross breeze. We can set up picnic-style catering onboard and have beer, wine, champagne, sodas, and bottled water available for purchase. The Morris Island Lighthouse is a decommisioned relic of Charleston's history. When originally constructed the lighthouse was approximately 1,200 feet from the shoreline. Due to altered currents in the harbor that were a result of the creation of jetties to protect the shipping lanes errosion destroyed the existing buildings on the island. By 1938 the shoreline reached the lighthouse making it too dangerous for manned operation and became automated.
